A Concrete Act of Care: Minister of Religious Affairs Prof. Nasaruddin Channels 'Kemenag Peduli' Aid to FST UIN Jakarta Student

The Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has demonstrated its deep commitment to education and humanitarian causes. Through the "Kemenag Peduli" (Ministry of Religious Affairs Cares) program, the Minister of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A., officially channeled financial aid worth IDR 15,000,000 to Tegar Bimo Prakoso Putra Ngabei, an Informatics Engineering student at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This assistance was presented as a form of moral and financial support to aid the student's ongoing health recovery process.

Tegar Bimo Prakoso Putra Ngabei, an Informatics Engineering student (ID Number: 11200910000028), is an sub-discipline scholar currently completing his final academic requirements. He has been working on a highly relevant thesis in the digital technology sector, titled "Sentiment Analysis of Grab and Gojek Application Users Using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) Method". However, his academic journey faced a major hurdle due to a severe accident.

On May 15, 2025, Tegar was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. The incident resulted in traumatic head injuries that required him to undergo urgent brain surgery, which subsequently caused a minor stroke. Although a year has passed, Tegar’s spirit to fully recover and complete his degree remains unextinguished. To this day, he continues to fight and regularly undergoes intensive physiotherapy sessions to restore his motor functions.

The family and the academic community of FST UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta expressed their deepest gratitude and highest appreciation for the direct attention from the Minister of Religious Affairs and the Kemenag Peduli team. This financial assistance is expected to ease the burden of ongoing medical and therapy expenses, while serving as a powerful motivation for Tegar to achieve a full recovery, return to his studies, and complete his thesis research.
