USAID HEPI and Oklahoma State University held the event "Celebrating Heroes: Women in Educational Leadership" at @america, Jakarta, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. The event featured sessions sharing inspirational stories and innovative projects led by women in education. Its goal was to provide participants with the opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate in Engineering & Science programs through Higher Education Resources (HER). Three distinguished speakers were invited: Dr. Jeanette Mendez, Provost and Senior Vice President of Oklahoma State University; Dr. Guiping Hu, Professor and Head of the School of Industrial Engineering and Management at Oklahoma State University; and Iin Handayani Dewi, Lecturer and Researcher at the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Jakarta.

The event also offered a special opportunity for students from the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Jakarta to participate. By attending, students could gain new insights, expand their networks, and find inspiration from female leaders who have made significant contributions to the field of education.
