Ternate, North Maluku — On December 9-10, 2024, a Practical Digital Literacy Workshop was successfully held at two key locations: the Hall of IAIN Ternate Campus and the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Ternate. This event, initiated by a collaboration between UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and Bakti Kominfo, aimed to enhance digital understanding and productivity among students and employees.

The workshop provided in-depth insights into the importance of digital literacy in the modern era. Amid the rapid advancement of technology, the ability to comprehend and utilize digital tools wisely has become a cornerstone for success in supporting economic, educational, and social development.

Participants were guided to explore two main focuses:
✅ For students, understanding the potential of digital technology in crafting more innovative and efficient academic works.
✅ For employees, increasing awareness of digital ethics and cybersecurity to promote professionalism in the workplace.

The event received a warm response from attendees, who appreciated the interactive discussions and valuable materials presented. It is hoped that the knowledge and skills gained can be practically applied to foster a more digitally literate and productive Ternate community.

This workshop represents a tangible effort to develop outstanding human resources capable of facing the challenges of the digital era while strengthening the synergy between educational institutions and government agencies.
