On Monday, June 30, 2025, the Agribusiness Study Program of the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a community engagement activity in Kelurahan Rambutan, East Jakarta. This event marked the closing of the program’s Community Service Month and involved both lecturers and students. The workshop focused on producing eco enzymes and natural soap using citrus peels, aiming to raise environmental awareness while equipping the local community with practical and sustainable skills.

More than 60 enthusiastic participants from various backgrounds joined the training. Through this initiative, the Agribusiness Program hopes to inspire greater concern for waste management and promote productive reuse of waste into valuable, income-generating products. The activity also reflects the program’s commitment to the tridharma of higher education—especially in supporting sustainable and economically empowered communities.
