Exploring Halal Ecosystem and STEM Talents: UIN Raden Intan Lampung Conducts Strategic Benchmarking to FST UIN Jakarta
The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta hosted a working visit and follow-up benchmarking session by a high-level delegation from UIN Raden Intan Lampung on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The meeting, which took place in the Main Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of FST UIN Jakarta, was led directly by the Rector of UIN Lampung, Prof. H. Wan Jamaluddin Z, M.Ag., Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice Rector for Academic and Institutional Affairs, Prof. Dr. Andi Thahir, M.A., the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Dr. Rika Damayanti, and the Head of the Information Systems Program, Fiqih Satria, M.T.I. This strategic discussion focused on strengthening the implementation of academic activities based on the latest technology and aligning the future vision between the two institutions.
During the dialogue, UIN Lampung explored opportunities for collaboration to tap into students’ STEM potential through integration with the Huawei ICT Academy at FST UIN Jakarta. The Rector of UIN Lampung also shared his experiences from a visit to China, where he observed the practical implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology firsthand. Additionally, this meeting served as a platform to reinforce the vision of FST UIN Lampung, which is currently initiating the development of a halal ecosystem. This synergy is expected to accelerate modern science-based innovation that remains integrated with Islamic values at both universities.
