The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Jakarta received a visit from the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alauddin Makassar on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Dean's Meeting Room of FST UIN Jakarta. The delegation from UIN Alauddin Makassar, consisting of Irsyadi Siradjuddin, SP, M.Si, Rahmaniah, S.Si, M.Si, Jasdar Agus, S.Si, M.Si, and Andi Muhammad Nurhidayat, S.Kom, S.T., was welcomed by Dr. La Ode Sumarlin, M.Si, as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FST UIN Jakarta. In his speech, Dr. La Ode Sumarlin emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two faculties to improve the quality of education. He also explained several excellent systems in FST UIN Jakarta, such as SIQA, e-letter, BKD, e-performance, and Tracer Study mechanism managed by Career Center (Puskarier) UIN Jakarta to support the effectiveness and consistency of graduate data management.

In addition, the discussion also addressed the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). FST UIN Jakarta relies on the Quality Assurance Cluster (GJM) at the study program level, which is coordinated by the Quality Assurance Coordinator (KJM) at the faculty level, in collaboration with the university's Quality Assurance Agency (LPM). In comparison, the delegation from FST UIN Alauddin explained that they have a similar mechanism, but each study program is equipped with a quality assurance secretary to strengthen quality management. This exchange of ideas is expected to strengthen the relationship between the two faculties and improve the quality of education delivery in each institution.
