FST UIN Jakarta and Valensi Chemistry Journal Launch Strategic Workshop to Drive High-Impact Research
The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, in collaboration with the Valensi Chemistry Journal, successfully held the "KPI-Based and Impactful Breakthrough Research Workshop Batch #1" on Monday, January 12, 2026. The event took place at the Main Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the FST Building.
The primary objective of this workshop is to assist faculty members in drafting a Futuristic, Focused, and Measurable Multi-Year Research Roadmap. This strategic planning is intended not only to advance scientific discovery but also to provide a clear trajectory for the academic career advancement of lecturers.
The keynote speaker, Prof. Dr. La Ode Sumarlin, M.Si., highlighted that the strength of research lies in its social relevance. "Your research gains strength when it delivers a REAL impact to society. Write your plan, implement it step by step, and God willing, you will reach your goals," he stated during the session.
In support of this vision, the Dean of FST UIN Jakarta, Prof. Husni Teja Sukmana, Ph.D., urged researchers to align their work with the FST Innovation Product Clusters. This alignment is crucial for harmonizing efforts across the faculty to ensure collective progress.
The workshop echoed a powerful mantra: #Impactful Research and Real Benefits: FROM THE LAB TO LIFE#. It reinforces the idea that great research does not end with a report; it begins with change and is measured by the tangible benefits felt by the community.
Leave a Mark, Create a Real Impact.
