FST UIN Jakarta Explores International Collaboration with NCUE Taiwan on Student Exchange and Research Programs
The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, is strengthening its global partnerships through a new collaboration with the National Changhua University of Education (NCUE), Taiwan. The official visit took place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, led by Dr. Hon-Man Lee (Dean of Office of International and Cross-strait Affairs & Professor at the Department of Chemistry, NCUE) and Chi Yen Huang (Distinguished Professor Institute of Photonics, Dean College of Science, and Director for Science Education).
This partnership will cover student exchange, internship, and the Taiwan experience education program. Students will have the opportunity to join internships ranging from 2 to 6 months, with an estimated living cost of around IDR 3 million per month. There are also 3–4 scholarship slots provided by SPIL, tuition fees of approximately IDR 25 million per semester for the international program, and the option to work part-time up to 25 hours per week. Final-year students may collaborate with professors in research labs, while faculty members are encouraged to conduct joint workshops and research projects. The program will be launched soon by FST, and further details will be announced in the near future.
