FST UIN Jakarta Holds Follow-up Meeting on SDGs and MBKM Support with Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park
The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a follow-up meeting to the declaration of support for the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) programme with Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (TNGGP). This meeting was held on Wednesday, 10 September 2025 in the Main Conference Room of FST UIN Jakarta, attended by FST leadership, SDGs Center representatives, and TNGGP Hall.
In this meeting, various collaboration opportunities were discussed, ranging from biodiversity research, ecosystem restoration, wildlife monitoring, to community empowerment around the area. The Head of TNGGP, Ir. Arif, highlighted the potential use of BPDLH funds and the FOLU Net Sink 2030 programme, while UIN Jakarta's SDGs Center emphasised the importance of integrating research results towards patents, publications, and innovations that directly benefit the community. The meeting also affirmed a joint commitment to strengthen natural resource conservation through Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi activities, while encouraging the involvement of cross-disciplinary study programmes in FST.
