On December 11, 2024, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of UIN Jakarta held an important discussion to initiate collaboration with Beifang Automotive Education Group. The discussion focused on the follow-up actions for the collaboration to be implemented in the future, as well as planning joint programs for the coming year. Beifang expressed its commitment to supporting FST through various educational programs, such as short courses, online book development, training, and curriculum updates, which could be applied at both diploma and undergraduate levels. In its role, Beifang is also ready to provide broader educational support to strengthen the quality of educational institutions, with an emphasis on practical skills development.

The benefits that FST can gain from this collaboration are significant. One of them is the opportunity for FST students to attend workshops directly in China, which will enrich their knowledge and skills. Additionally, the short courses organized by Beifang open opportunities for students to develop their competencies in a short period. Moreover, Beifang offers 2,000 training video modules, which can be translated into Indonesian, allowing FST to access high-quality learning materials. For institutions without an automotive program, Beifang also offers collaborative solutions through the development of laboratories and other educational activities, such as industry tours, which can help FST introduce students to the automotive field directly.
