National Mining Student Competition (NMSC) 2024, with the theme Mine Planning, became a prestigious platform for undergraduate students to apply their knowledge and skills in designing and preparing mine planning reports. This competition was organized by the Mining Engineering Study Program of UIN Jakarta in collaboration with the Mining Engineering Student Association of UIN Jakarta, running from September 6 to October 24, 2024, with the aim of fostering innovation and competency among students in the field of mining.

During the grand finale held at the Varva National Mining Seminar at Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN Jakarta, the competition winners were announced. The title of 1st Place was awarded to Hasanuddin University, followed by Sriwijaya University in 2nd Place, and UIN Jakarta in 3rd Place. This competition highlighted the significant role of students in addressing challenges in the mining industry and making meaningful contributions to the advancement of this sector in Indonesia.
