Optimizing Cikuya Land: FST UIN Jakarta Explores Strategic Partnerships with Tani Makmur and Bit-Time
The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is finalizing plans to optimize university-owned land in Cikuya Village, Tangerang Regency. Through strategic meetings with representatives from Tani Makmur and Bit-Time, Mr. Vincent, FST is exploring cross-sectoral collaboration involving modern agriculture and cutting-edge technology with Tani Makmur and Bit-Time.
In the agricultural sector, there are plans to develop grape cultivation on the Cikuya land, which will involve the Grape Farmers Association as a technical partner. This project is projected to serve as a field laboratory for students in the Agribusiness Program, encompassing internship schemes through to research on community-based business models. Meanwhile, in the technology sector, Bit-Time is offering a collaboration on blockchain technology development for the Information Technology Program. This partnership has been positively received by faculty members as a strategic step toward aligning the curriculum with the current needs of the digital industry to enhance the competitiveness of graduates.
