The 2025 Pre-National Meeting of the Indonesian Forum for Mining Engineering Study Programs was successfully held on July 8–9, 2025, at the Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy, Universitas Trisakti. Carrying the theme “Strengthening the Understanding of OBE and the Human Resource Outlook for Indonesia’s Mining Sector,” the event served as a crucial platform for academic leaders, faculty members, and stakeholders to align educational goals and enhance institutional collaboration. The discussion focused on refining Outcome-Based Education (OBE) implementation and anticipating the evolving needs of the national mining industry.

Co-hosted by Universitas Trisakti and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, the event underscored the importance of inter-university synergy in advancing the quality of mining engineering education in Indonesia. Participants gained valuable insights into academic best practices and future directions for developing competent, adaptive, and industry-ready mining professionals. This gathering also laid the groundwork for a more impactful and united National Annual Meeting in the near future.
