On April 1, 2024, the Faculty of Science and Technology of the State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta witnessed the warmth and togetherness that filled the auditorium during the Ramadan Gathering and Iftar event. Lecturers and staff gathered in the spirit of brotherhood to welcome the holy month of Ramadan with blessings and joy. The event became a forum to strengthen the relationship among faculty members, as well as an opportunity to increase religious understanding in the context of Ramadan.

The lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. U. Maman, M.Si., as the main speaker was the highlight of the event. With great depth of knowledge and wisdom, he explained the importance of moderation and tolerance in religious practice, especially in the blessed month of Ramadan. In an increasingly complex and diverse context, Prof. Dr. U. Maman emphasized that understanding the difference between the two concepts is an important step in strengthening the Islamic faith, as well as promoting peace and harmony in society. The audience was silent in solemnity, absorbing every word of wisdom delivered by him, while enjoying the delicious dishes that had been provided to break the fast together. The warm and intimate atmosphere of togetherness further colored this precious moment, while a solemn prayer ended the event with peace and gratitude.
