Release of Faculty of Science and Technology Students for Student Mobility Outbound (SMO) Thai Cross Cultural Program Thailand 2023
On December 4, 2023, the Faculty of Science and Technology held a student release event for the Student Mobility Outbound (SMO) Thai Cross Cultural Program Thailand 2023. This event was a very special moment for students selected to participate in Thailand's cultural exchange program. The presence of Vice Chancellor 1 for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A., added a sense of honor and importance to the event.
The event began with a warm welcome from the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, who doubled as the event's opening. He expressed his pride and full support for the students participating in this exchange program. The courage to take a step out of their comfort zone and try new experiences in a foreign country is a value that the faculty appreciate.
Next, Vice Rector 1 for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, gave an inspirational speech. He emphasized the importance of self-development through cultural exchange and improving academic skills in an international environment. Prof. Ahmad Tholabi also expressed his hope that students can become good ambassadors for their country and university, bridge understanding between nations, and bring back valuable experiences to share with colleagues on campus.
