SDGs Center, Lecturers, and Students of FST UIN Jakarta Collaborate to Hold Ecoenzyme Training in Two Locations
Faculty of Science and Technology lecturers and students, together with the SDGs Center at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, conducted a community service activity as part of the 187 Vidyakara Community Service Program in Badak Anom Village, Tangerang Regency. The activity featured speakers Nurmaya Arofah, M.Eng. and Titik Inayah, M.Si., who provided training on the production of ecoenzymes as an environmentally friendly solution for household waste management. This training is expected to increase residents' awareness of the importance of sustainable waste management and encourage the community to implement simple innovations that benefit the surrounding environment.
Similar activities were also conducted by the KKN 29 Nawa Karsa group in Durian Mekar Village, Bojongsari Subdistrict, Depok. Through collaboration between students from the Agribusiness, Biology, and Mining Engineering programs, faculty members, and the SDGs Center, this program demonstrates UIN Jakarta's commitment to supporting sustainable development goals through the application of knowledge that directly addresses community needs. With this collaborative spirit, it is hoped that a new culture of healthier, more productive, and sustainable environmental management will emerge.
