Strengthening Bonds and Internal Coordination: The Story Behind the Capacity Building Program at the Faculty of Sharia and Theology, UIN Jakarta

The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held its two-day Capacity Building program from Thursday to Friday, April 23-24, 2026. Set in the serene environment of 5G Resort Cijeruk, Bogor, the event was meticulously designed to strengthen the faculty's internal foundation by enhancing human resource competencies and aligning strategic visions across units.

This annual event featured two main agendas that serve as pillars for institutional development: a Sharing Session with the University Center Heads of UIN Jakarta and a Motivation Building Workshop. All faculty members, including leadership, academic staff, administrative personnel (Tendik), and laboratory assistants, actively participated in discussions and simulations aimed at fostering a more solid and professional work culture.

In the first session, a Sharing Session moderated by Khodijah Hulliyah, Ph.D., provided perspectives from various strategic centers at the university level. Prof. Dr. Hendrawati, M.Si (Head of the Green Campus Center), Prof. Dr. Suma’inna, M.Si (Head of the Quality Performance Center), and Dr. Siti Ummi Masruroh, M.Sc (Head of the Research and Publication Center) presented a roadmap for integrating university policies into faculty operations. The interactive discussion focused on implementing eco-friendly campus concepts, standardizing academic service quality, and accelerating international scientific publications.

Moving into the second agenda, Ir. Fauzan Ahmad served as the keynote speaker for the Motivation Building Workshop. He emphasized that faculty excellence depends not only on infrastructure but on the mental resilience and technological adaptability of its personnel. Under the theme "Strengthening Competency, Collaboration, and Digital Services," participants were encouraged to embrace digital-based efficiency. The program concluded with an optimistic outlook for FST UIN Jakarta to face future academic challenges with a refreshed spirit of collaboration.
