On March 7, 2024, the Physics Study Program held a Studium General event with a focus on the integration of petrophysics, geophysics, and geology for reservoir modeling. This event became a focal point for students and academics to understand the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in the oil and gas industry. The keynote speaker on this occasion was Ridwan, M.T., an expert from the Oil and Gas Institute (LEMIGAS), who brought extensive experience and knowledge in the field.

In his presentation, Ridwan discussed various methods and techniques used in reservoir modeling, as well as the importance of data integration from various sources such as petrophysics, geophysics, and geology. With a comprehensive approach, he provided a deep understanding of how data from various disciplines can be combined to produce accurate and powerful reservoir models for the oil and gas industry.
