The Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Jakarta and the Faculty of Science and Technology at UNPATTI Have Officially Partnered to Promote Quality in Higher Education
The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continues to demonstrate its concrete commitment to broadening collaboration networks in order to enhance the quality of education, research, and community service. This strategic milestone was officially marked by the Signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between FST UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitas Pattimura (FST UNPATTI). This pivotal agenda, which signifies a new chapter of synergy between these state higher education institutions, was solemnized on Thursday, June 18, 2026. The historic document was formally signed by the Dean of FST UIN Jakarta, Prof. Husni Teja Sukmana, Ph.D, and the Dean of FST UNPATTI, Dr. Henry Junus Wattimanela, S.Si., M.Si. Through this agreement, both faculties are fully dedicated to supporting mutual academic development, particularly in addressing the rapid advancement of scientific disciplines and technology integration in Indonesia.
This cross-island partnership is comprehensively designed to unlock vast opportunities for both institutions to implement innovative programs, including joint research collaborations, lecturer and student exchanges, and co-hosting scientific seminars. The primary focus of this alliance is directed toward strengthening expertise in science and technology fields, which is highly expected to generate impactful technological breakthroughs for the broader community. Both Prof. Husni Teja Sukmana, Ph.D and Dr. Henry Junus Wattimanela, S.Si., M.Si. remain deeply optimistic that this academic synergy will not only elevate their respective global competitiveness but also accelerate the standardization of higher education quality between the western and eastern regions of Indonesia, paving the way for a dynamic and inclusive academic ecosystem.
