The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held its annual Qurban (animal sacrifice) ritual in commemoration of Eid al-Adha. This deeply spiritual and socially impactful event was solemnly carried out on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Markedly different from previous years, this year's ritual took place at the FST UIN Jakarta Agricultural Education, Research, and Development Station located in Cikuya. This venue was strategically selected not only to fulfill religious obligations but also to maximize the utilization of the faculty's off-campus facilities while engaging and sharing directly with the community living around the agro-station.

During the event, FST UIN Jakarta slaughtered two sacrificial animals contributed by the faculty's leadership and prominent lecturers. The Qurban consisted of one cattle registered under the names of Prof. Husni Teja Sukmana, Ph.D., Prof. Dr. La Ode Sumarlin, M.Si., Khodijah Hulliyah, M.Si., Ph.D., Prof. Dr. Achmad Tjachja Nugraha, M.P., Prof. Dr. Megga Ratnasari Pikoli, M.Si., Nurmaya Arofah, M.Eng., and Dr. Imam Marzuki Shofi, M.T., alongside one goat on behalf of Prof. Dr. Syopiansyah Jaya Putra, M.Si. The meat was subsequently distributed to faculty staff, plantation workers, and local residents. This momentum is highly expected to continuously strengthen communal ties, foster a spirit of generosity, and bring blessings to both the academic and social advancements of FST UIN Jakarta.
