To Prepare Students to Face Industry Challenges, the Department of Mining Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), UIN Jakarta, Holds a Studium Generale
Emphasizing the core philosophy, "Prepare yourself for the future starting from college, because those who survive are those who are ready," the Mining Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, successfully hosted a Studium Generale titled "Successful Strategies for Entering the Workforce and Building a Professional Career in the Mining Industry". Held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 13:00 to 16:00 WIB at the 2nd Floor Theater Room of FST UIN Jakarta, the event featured Muhammad Suhada, Director of Human Capital & Corporate Services at PT Masmindo Dwi Area, who delivered key insights, motivation, and practical perspectives on the operational dynamics and professional expectations of the modern mining sector.
Through this interactive session, students were strongly encouraged to enhance their core technical competencies, broaden field experience, and cultivate a highly adaptable professional character while still pursuing their academic degrees. The lecture highlighted that long-term career success relies not only on current capabilities but also on a continuous readiness to learn, evolve, and navigate industry challenges.
