The workshop was opened with remarks from Prof. Dr. Ahmad Zainal Hamdi, M.Ag., who serves as the Director of Islamic Higher Education at the Directorate General of Islamic Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Following this, Prof. Zainal A. Hasibuan, Ph.D., a professor from Dian Nuswantoro University (UDINUS) Semarang, outlined the strategies and programs required to achieve this status. Additionally, Dr. Ahmad Yani, S.TP, M.Si., Deputy Head of Business Management & Partnerships at the Business Management, Investment, Endowment Fund, and Waqf Board of IPB University, discussed various aspects of business and asset management at the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB). IPB is known for managing a variety of business units, both legally incorporated and non-incorporated, with the primary goal of increasing revenue and supporting institutional operations, serving as a good example for developing an independent-based faculty at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
