On Monday, June 16, 2025 — Students of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta carried out an ecoenzyme distribution activity at Campus 1 as part of their practical application of the Environmental Chemistry course. The event aimed to support environmental preservation and promote eco-friendly initiatives within the academic community.

The course is taught by Prof. Dr. Hendrawati, M.Si., a faculty member of the Faculty of Science and Technology known for integrating green innovation into her teaching. The ecoenzymes, produced by the students using organic waste, serve various purposes, including as natural cleaning agents and liquid fertilizers. In a show of support, UIN Jakarta Rector Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., also joined the activity and participated in the symbolic pouring of ecoenzyme alongside the students. His presence underscored the university’s commitment to sustainability and student-led environmental initiatives.

This event demonstrates the meaningful integration of academic learning and real-world action, reinforcing a shared responsibility among lecturers, students, and leadership to create a healthier, more sustainable campus environment.
