CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT OF OBE 2025 (Outcome Based Education) FST UIN JAKARTA
Jakarta, May 3, 2025. In the framework of curriculum development activities for 2025, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (UIN Jakarta) held a Curriculum 2025 Meeting on Friday, May 9, 2025. The activity took place in the Main Meeting Room (RSU) of FST on the 2nd floor and was attended by the Vice Dean 1 for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. La Ode Sumarlin, M.Si, Head of Study Programs and Secretaries of Study Programs in the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST). This activity is a series of processes for curriculum development for OBE 2025 (Outcome Based Education), as a refinement of the 2020 Curriculum which will soon end. The resource person who provided the material was Dr. Yanti Herlanti, M.Pd, Curriculum Expert and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Islamic Education and Teacher Training (FITK) UIN Jakarta. The main agenda of the meeting is the Discussion on the preparation and adjustment of the new curriculum for the 2025/2026 academic year of the 2025 curriculum. The main focus of the discussion this time includes the technical distribution of courses per semester, adjustment of MBKM courses and learning outcomes (CPL) with the needs of the world of work.
During the meeting, participants also discussed project-based learning methods, as well as increasing student involvement in research and community service activities. In addition, they also discussed the conversion of assessments for off-campus activities so that all student activities can be converted into lecture activities through certain courses. It is hoped that this activity will provide input in the development of the OBE 2025 curriculum. In addition, the preparation of this curriculum was also carried out in an atmosphere of changing the spirit of the PT curriculum that "has an impact" as suggested by the Ministry of Education and Science and Technology.
