Discussion Cooperation Faculty of Science and Technology with EMLIKU Smart Technology

On October 10, 2023, there was an important announcement regarding the collaboration between the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Jakarta and EMLIKU with St. John's University Taiwan. This collaboration brings positive news in the world of education, especially in the field of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). In the double degree program that will be launched, students who are successfully accepted will spend two years at UIN Jakarta and two years at St. John's University Taiwan.

What makes this program more interesting is the provision of full scholarships to students who are successfully accepted. This is an amazing opportunity for students who want to explore STEM sciences while experiencing a quality international education. While this scholarship is very lucrative, there are also requirements that the scholarship recipients need to fulfill. Upon completion of this double degree program, they are required to work in Taiwan for two years before being completely free.

The double degree program is expected to start within the next six months, and it will involve curriculum revision in the STEM study program at UIN Jakarta to align with Taiwan's educational standards. This agreement is a major step in the development of STEM education in Indonesia and provides a tremendous opportunity for students to gain adequate international educational experience. During the meeting, Mrs. Kathleen Lin, who serves as the Managing Director of EMLIKU, was also present and played an important role in the development of this program.

Overall, this partnership opens the door for students in Indonesia to get a quality STEM education at an international level at an affordable cost through full scholarships. In addition, this agreement also provides hope for the development of human resources in the field of STEM who are competent and ready to contribute to the development of science and technology in the future.
