On August 5, 2024, the Integrated Laboratory Center of the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a "Workshop Awareness SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017." This event aimed to enhance understanding of the importance of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in laboratory management systems, which is crucial for quality control and assurance in the research conducted by faculty and students. This standard is necessary to ensure the consistency of analytical data between laboratories, support high-quality research that can lead to international publications, and, therefore, improving laboratory competence becomes a key factor in achieving this goal.

The workshop was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A., who emphasized the commitment of UIN Jakarta’s leadership to supporting the process of obtaining ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation for testing laboratories at the Integrated Laboratory Center. Through this training, it is expected that the laboratories within UIN Jakarta can meet internationally recognized quality and technical system requirements, thereby providing maximum support for the research conducted by faculty and students and enhancing the competitiveness of scientific publications on the global stage.
