The Chemistry Study Program of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, conducted a strategic benchmarking visit to i-CRAM Makmal at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) on Friday, February 6, 2026. This international outreach aims to elevate laboratory standards and broaden research perspectives.

The delegation was cordially received by Prof. Dr. Jalifah binti Latip, who guided the team through a comprehensive tour of the facilities, specifically focusing on the materials and molecular structure laboratories. This visit provided valuable insights into advanced laboratory management and cutting-edge technologies currently utilized in molecular analysis at UKM.

This benchmarking mission is expected to pave the way for formal institutional collaboration. Moving forward, both universities aim to establish joint research programs involving students and faculty members to foster scientific innovation and strengthen academic publications in the field of chemistry.
