The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially reopened the Al-Hikmah Prayer Room on the 1st Floor on December 10, 2025, following a renovation designed to enhance comfort and improve worship facilities for the academic community. The renovation included interior upgrades, better spatial arrangement, and improved supporting amenities to ensure a more welcoming and functional prayer space.

The reopening ceremony was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and students, all of whom warmly welcomed the improved facility. Al-Hikmah has long served as one of the main spiritual hubs within FST, making this renovation an important step in strengthening religious services within the faculty.

In addition to the reopening of the first-floor prayer room, FST also expanded its support for worship facilities by providing new carpets for the 5th-Floor Prayer Room, funded through donations from the academic community and generous contributors. These contributions reflect the shared commitment to creating a more comfortable and dignified worship environment.

With this renovation and facility enhancement, FST UIN Jakarta aims to further cultivate a harmonious campus atmosphere that supports spiritual well-being alongside academic and social life.
