On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially launched the Saintek Hub, a dedicated space for innovation and collaboration located on the 3rd floor of the FST building. The program is a result of a strategic partnership with BAKTI Kominfo Digital. The event was opened by Master of Ceremony Taufan Maulana Firdaus, S.Pd., followed by a prayer led by Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Collaboration, and Alumni, Khodijah Hulliyah, M.Si., Ph.D. In his remarks, the Dean of FST, Husni Teja Sukmana, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed gratitude for the partnership with BAKTI, which began with initiatives such as BTS evaluation, internet access provision, and digital literacy. He also announced future plans to establish more co-working spaces on other floors of the building to support cross-disciplinary innovation.

Dr. Fadhilah Mathar, M.Pd., President Director of BAKTI, emphasized the broad opportunity for collaboration with all study programs within FST, and shared BAKTI’s vision to expand internet access to remote areas such as Papua. She encouraged the FST academic community to submit project proposals for potential collaboration that BAKTI would be glad to support. Meanwhile, Din Wahid, M.A., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Collaboration, warmly welcomed the initiative and recalled his earlier communication with Ms. Indah from BAKTI. He underscored the meaningful essence of the slogan “Great Ideas, Start Here”, which captures the spirit of Saintek Hub as a launchpad for future innovations from the FST academic environment.
