On Monday, January 29, 2024, the day witnessed the inauguration of the Student Council (DEMA) and Student Senate (SEMA) of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Jakarta which marked the beginning of new leadership in the academic sphere. The event began with a warm welcome from the Dean of FST UIN Jakarta, Husni Teja Sukmana, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. who gave inspiring words to the students and motivated them to contribute actively in the development of the faculty. After that, the atmosphere was even more lively with the performance of a student choir that enlivened the event.

After a series of speeches, it was time to inaugurate the new leaders. DEMA and SEMA who have gone through a thorough selection and election process were finally officially inaugurated. Those elected are ready to lead students in facing various challenges and achieving new achievements. The newly inaugurated heads of DEMA and SEMA delivered their first speeches, in which they committed to realizing the vision and mission of the faculty. They emphasized the importance of collaboration, innovation, and active participation of all students in achieving mutual progress.

After the inauguration ceremony, it was followed by a handshake activity attended by lecturers, staff, and students. The activity provided an opportunity for all parties to interact informally and strengthen the network of cooperation in achieving common goals. The inauguration of DEMA and SEMA is not only the beginning of new leadership but also illustrates the spirit of unity and togetherness in achieving more brilliant academic achievements in the future.
