Eleven UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta students, consisting of 3 FST students and 8 FITK students, participated in workshops and community service activities organized by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Engage Jakarta 2023. Engage Jakarta 2023 is a program organized by UTM with the aim of expanding knowledge transfer in the field of science and technology abroad.

This activity program took place for 2 days on November 26-27, 2023 at Universitas Negeri Jakarta and SD Negeri Rawamangun 12. This activity began with a workshop with the theme of developing solar panels as an alternative energy source and ended with the implementation of the workshop results. There were three lecturers and 16 students representing UTM, 13 participants from UNJ, and 11 participants from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Participants from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta consisted of 3 people from the Physics study program, 4 people from the Chemistry Education study program, 2 people from the Biology Education study program, 2 people from the Physics Education study program.
