Internship for Agribusiness Students in Japan
A total of 21 students from the Agribusiness study program at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, consisting of the class of 2019 and 2020, have started an Internship program in Japan. This activity began with the departure of eight students from the first batch of 2019, who will undergo Internship in leading agricultural companies in Hokkaido and Nagasaki for about six months. This internship program is not only a golden opportunity for students to apply the theories they have learned in class, but also a window into modern agricultural practices that are highly relevant at the global level.
In addition to exploring aspects of agribusiness, this Internship program also provides valuable experience in interacting with Japanese culture and society. Students will live and work in Japan, allowing them to experience the Japanese lifestyle, values, and traditions. Hopefully, this experience will help students develop valuable interpersonal and intercultural skills. Upon completion of this Internship program, students are expected to bring home new knowledge and skills that will contribute positively to the development of the agribusiness sector in Indonesia and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in agriculture and agribusiness.
