The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held the 2025 Academic and Student Culture Orientation (PBAK) on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the FST courtyard. Carrying the theme “From Unity We Rise, Through Values We Lead”, this event marked the first step for new students to embrace academic culture, unity, and the scientific spirit upheld by the faculty.

The program began with remarks from the 2025 PBAK Committee Chair, the Student Executive Board (DEMA) Chair, and the Dean of FST. Students then received a series of insightful sessions, including: Faculty Profile by Prof. Husni Teja Sukmana, M.Sc., Ph.D.; FST Service Structure by Dra. Faojah, M.A.; E-learning FST by Taufik Edy Sutanto, M.Sc.Tech., Ph.D.; Introduction to the Integrated Laboratory Center (PLT) by Dr. Iwan Aminudin, M.Sc.; Building Quality Scientists with Ethics and Broad Insight by Prof. Dr. La Ode Sumarlin, M.Sc.; and The Paradigm of Knowledge Integration and Religious Moderation by Khodijah Hulliyah, M.Sc., Ph.D. The event also celebrated student achievements, where FST proudly claimed the Overall Champion at UIN X Forsa and the National Scientific Writing Competition among PTKIN.

On the following day, August 29, 2025, each study program held its own Departmental PBAK, providing closer interaction among new students. The series of events concluded with the symbolic Lowering of the Banners created by each department, representing solidarity among the 2025 FST freshmen. With this, FST UIN Jakarta warmly welcomed its new students, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing ethical, knowledgeable, and impactful future scientists.
