On November 9, 2024, the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Jakarta successfully held an Alumni Gathering event on the faculty campus. The event aimed to strengthen the bonds among alumni across different cohorts and build networks that benefit all participants.

The event featured valuable sharing sessions by two main speakers, Ahmad Farisi and Muhammad Zakaria, both distinguished alumni of the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Jakarta. They shared their experiences, insights, and career journeys, inspiring fellow alumni to continue contributing and growing in their respective professional fields.

The afternoon atmosphere grew even more lively with the increasing enthusiasm of the alumni, fostering communication and strengthening the bonds of camaraderie among them. Additionally, the event included the formation of alumni coordinators for each study program. This initiative aimed to facilitate the tracking of alumni and their career paths, which would in turn help current students in finding academic and non-academic opportunities, creating a more robust network between graduates and active students.

One of the main highlights of the event was a video competition offering prizes of up to Rp 2,000,000. The competition showcased videos depicting the current state of study programs and student associations, providing an overview and rekindling memories of when the alumni were students at the Faculty of Science and Technology. These videos successfully evoked nostalgia, adding warmth to the atmosphere and serving as a medium to strengthen the sense of belonging among alumni.

The 2024 Alumni Gathering became a meaningful event that reconnected alumni with their alma mater, reinforced the spirit of togetherness, and opened doors for greater collaboration and support in the future.
