On November 1, 2023, UIN Jakarta Chemistry Study Program held a studium general event that raised an important theme, namely "The Role of Statistics in Scientific Research,". This event was organized as an effort to provide in-depth insight into how statistics, research methodology, and data science have a central role in research. Dr. Joachim Alhoff, gave an inspiring lecture on how statistical methods can be applied in research, helping participants to understand how data and statistical analysis can lead to valuable insights.
The event was capped off with a spirited musical performance from the Chemistry Student Association, adding a touch of fun entertainment to the overall event. By combining deep insights into the role of statistics in research and uplifting entertainment, this studium general succeeded in providing a valuable experience for the students and attendees, as well as strengthening their understanding of how important the application of statistics, research methodology, and data science is in supporting quality research. This event reflects UIN Jakarta Chemistry Study Program's commitment in supporting multidisciplinary science and holistic knowledge development.
