On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, the Main Conference Room of the Faculty of Science and Technology at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta bore witness to a historic meeting between the Computer Engineering Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The event was initiated by the Computer Science Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi, which requested a visit to UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
In this enthusiastic meeting, Dewi Khairani, M.Sc., serving as the Chair of the Computer Engineering Program at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, led the session by introducing various initiatives and projects being undertaken by the faculty. One of the main highlights was the introduction of the official faculty website and the 2021-2030 IT Roadmap, a strategic guide that steers the development and innovation in the field of information technology at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
The meeting also served as a platform to introduce the JTI Sinta 2 (CITSM) Journal, a scholarly journal publishing the latest research in the field of Computer Engineering. Dewi Khairani welcomed the potential collaboration with the Computer Science Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi, including the opportunity to organize joint conferences.
Furthermore, professors from Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi also participated in this meeting by expressing their willingness to collaborate in organizing joint conferences. They committed to making the conference an annual agenda, providing opportunities for academics to share knowledge and experiences in the field of Computer Engineering.
Additionally, a sharing session was conducted on inventory management, where UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta shared their best practices and experiences with professors from Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi. This served as an important momentum in strengthening the relationship between the two institutions and expanding insights and cooperation in the development of knowledge and information technology. Thus, this meeting not only served as a platform for exchanging information but also as an initial step towards closer collaboration in the future.
